Tom Sizemore will not recover from the severe brain aneurysm that struck him about ten days ago .
This was announced by his manager Charles Lago. The family of the actor, also much loved for the role of Sergeant Mike Horvath in "Saving Private Ryan", as reported by Variety, is making decisions regarding the "end of life".
“On Monday the doctors - he said - informed his family that there is no more hope and they recommended the end of life decision . The family is now evaluating this hypothesis and a further statement will be released shortly.'
Lago asked for "privacy in this difficult moment". The relatives would like to "thank everyone for the hundreds of messages of support and prayers that have been received. This - he underlined - is a very difficult moment for them".
Sizemore, 61, from Detroit, has appeared, often as a tough guy, in various blockbuster action films since the 1990s, including Heat, Natural Born Killers, Pearl Harbor, and Black Hawk Down .
He was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in “The Cold Eye of the Witness” and most recently appeared on television in the series “Twin Peaks” and “Cobra Kai”.
