Parody and irony for the show included in the review organized by Theatre en vol “Between dream and reality – Literature comes to life”. Tomorrow evening at 8:30 pm the Spazio TEV in via De Martini 15 hosts “Guai a voi, anime prave!”, a tragicomic version of Dante’s Inferno in the form of a conference/show.

A Divine Comedy that turns into a hilarious obstacle course for the poor speaker, played by Anna Melchiori, forced to endure all sorts of disturbances and impediments . But the show must go on : the speaker goes on despite everything and embodies Dante's characters as if in a trance, in a caricatural crescendo that pushes her to the brink of a hysterical crisis.

The human characters of Dante's Inferno emerge with their intense vital and emotional force : from Count Ugolino to Francesca da Rimini, from Ser Brunetto Latini to Farinata degli Uberti and others, up to a touching Ulysses, driven by voracious curiosity, vital and courageous as if he were careless of his own destiny and yet human, fragile, suffering.

The show is a co-production between Ndaipori Teatro/Theatre en vol, directed by Gustavo Riondet and with Simone Alfonsi as lighting designer.
