Refined music, blending lyricism and Brazilian influences. Four musicians, four stars of the Italian jazz scene, are coming to the Pinacoteca Nazionale in Sassari. On Friday, September 11th, at 7:30 PM, Insulæ Lab presents the Ajugada Quartet.
The original project features Antonella Vitale on vocals, Gaia Possenti on piano, Giulia Salsone on guitar, and Danielle Di Majo on saxophone. The quartet will take audiences on a captivating journey centered on mutual listening, interplay, and the constant search for a common language. What emerges from this extraordinary encounter is a fluid, contemporary, and deeply personal jazz, with the original compositions becoming living matter and evolving, opening up to improvisation and leaving room for ongoing dialogue between the musicians.
The event is organized in collaboration with the MIC - General Directorate of Museums , the National Art Gallery of Sassari and the Regional Directorate of Museums of Sardinia .
