A flutter of wings can tell an extraordinary story. Tomorrow, Saturday, November 16, at the Orto Giardino Mariposa de Cardu, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a universe made of colors, delicacy and metamorphosis.

Thanks to the project “A Butterfly World” by Manola Bellanca, adults and children will be able to live a unique experience: walking among tropical plants, surrounded by exotic and native butterflies, and discovering the secrets of their lives in an exciting journey from chrysalis to flight.

Born from her son's curiosity, Manola's passion for butterflies has turned into a real mission.

"Five years ago I was looking for swallowtail eggs and caterpillars, today I share this wonder with anyone who wants to know the life cycle of these insects, from camouflage to metamorphosis," she says, "For me it was a unique emotion, but it couldn't remain just our emotion: everyone should have the opportunity to get closer to this wonderful world. This is how my page "from caterpillar to butterfly" was born on social media! I continued to study to be able to breed other species, from native ones I moved on to non-native ones and beautiful tropical butterflies"

During the day, participants will be able to observe caterpillars, chrysalises and butterflies up close, discovering the secrets and fragility of a precious ecosystem. The event was promoted by the association Il Crogiuolo in memory of Luisa and Stefano Atzeri.
