Trade unions and agricultural associations are critical of the 2025 Budget that will arrive in the Chamber between the end of March and the beginning of April. This morning the hearings of stakeholders began in the Budget Committee. Cgil, Cisl and Uil were heard starting at 10 .

Cgil secretary Fausto Durante first raised a question of method: «The documents relating to the maneuver, thousands of pages, were sent to us two working days before the hearing». Now, « we hope that this hearing really makes sense, that is, that the text under discussion will not be distorted , because if that were the case we would find ourselves faced with what happened with the text of the health law and today's hearing would represent a mere formal fulfillment». For the rest: «The attention given to welfare issues is good, but there are not enough specific interventions planned to address some of the most evident critical issues of the health system, starting with the waiting lists which, in the text, it is thought to address by allocating more resources to private health care».

Another issue is the funds earmarked for the merger of the airports: « We reiterate that whatever corporate solution is adopted, for the CGIL it is crucial and fundamental that the management and control role be exercised by the Region because such a sensitive matter as air transport and territorial continuity cannot be entrusted to private entities and to market logic alone».

Cisl secretary Pier Luigi Ledda stressed the urgency of exiting the provisional exercise . Coldiretti vice president Efisio Perra was also critical: «There was a need for greater sharing in this first maneuver. Resources are lacking for the Blue tongue and natural disasters. In general we see more one-off interventions than strategic ones».
