An opportunity to remember great women authors, from Sardinia to the rest of the world, recounted in a new compendium: this Friday at 6 pm , the Miele Amaro bookshop , at Via Manno 53 in Cagliari , will host the presentation of the fourth volume of " Ritratti di Donne ," a collection published by Morellini Editore and edited by Sara Rattaro . Some of the authors will also be present, moderated by Myriam Mereu , and there will be a special focus on Grazia Deledda , in view of the centenary of her receiving the Nobel Prize for Literature.

"Portraits of Women" is not a simple list of the greatest female writers, but an immersion in the human and artistic world of twenty-nine iconic authors, given voice by as many contemporary colleagues : an event that is therefore dedicated to memory, culture, and the women who have left their mark on history, and not just literature.

Authors Marianna Politi – who curated the section on Laura Ingalls Wilder – and Valentina Gemme – responsible for the focus on Fernanda Pivano – will be present at the bookshop in the capital, along with Elisabetta Selis , who created the portrait of Grazia Deledda at the center of the event. The volume also aims to support Airett , an Italian association committed to research and support projects for girls and young women affected by Rett Syndrome , through its proceeds and public efforts.
