A high-voltage procession organized by animal rights activists is announced for July 14th at 6pm in Ilbono , the Ogliastra town of origin of the boy who in recent days, with some friends, had thrown a kitten from a bridge, in Lanusei: the video of the gesture chilling, it went around the internet and triggered a shower of reactions.

Death threats have been sent to the influencer Enrico Rizzi, the animal rights activist who is organizing the event, and to his family. It was Rizzi himself who reported the kids, but became the target of the haters. «I am used to threats», he writes in a note, «I have had to take them into account following my activity in defense of animals, but those of these days are worryingly serious. In addition to the complaint, I put my face directly where the horrendous act took place."

«I have noticed in recent days», underlines Rizzi, «inappropriate utterances against Sardinia. Phrases from which I totally dissociate myself. Sardinia is a wonderful land and the many Sardinians also testify to this. I will be with them to ask for severe and certain penalties for those who mistreat animals."

The story is also taking on serious consequences for the children, who have been reported to the Cagliari juvenile prosecutor's office: names and photos of the very young people are circulating freely and indignation is spreading on the web, with insults and threats both towards them and their families. For Sunday's demonstration in Ilbono, the Nuoro Police Headquarters has decided to strengthen the security service.
