ìOne million four hundred thousand euros would have been paid in two years, between 2016 and 2018, by Barcelona to a senior manager of the Spanish referees, and the investigation by the judiciary is triggered.
According to Ser Catalunya, the Catalan section of Cadena Ser radio, Orocura of Barcelona is investigating Dasnil 95 SL, a company owned by José María Enríquez Negreira, who was vice president of the technical committee of referees from 1994 to 2018, for private corruption.
The investigation stems from a tax audit of 1.4 million paid by Barça to the company between 2016 and 2018. Former senior managers of Barcelona and Negreira himself have already been heard by Orocura. Interviewed by Ser, the former president of Barcelona at the time Josep Maria Bartomeu, in office between 2014 and 2020, assured that these payments date back to before 2003, and that they were not interrupted until 2018.
Sources close to Sandro Rosell's management also confirm this version. No comment instead from the current president, Laporta.
