The serious accident in Texas, the car caught fire immediately after the crash
A driverless Tesla crashed into a tree in Texas killing two people on board.
The vehicle was traveling at very high speed north of Houston when, not making a curve, it crashed and caught fire.
"Almost certainly there was no one driving," the police said. When the officers arrived at the crash site, one of the two victims was sitting in the back seat, the other in the seat next to the driver.
On its website, Tesla warns that the driver assistance system "does not make cars fully autonomous" and that driver supervision is always required.
