Beaten by the ex, she calls 112 and "orders a pizza": saved

A 25-year-old arrested in the act of crime

In Milan, the police arrested a 25-year-old Moroccan citizen for the crime of aggravated personal injury against his former partner, a 33-year-old compatriot.

The woman had agreed to meet the man, from whom she had separated at the end of January and, during the meeting, at the height of yet another quarrel for reasons of jealousy, she was struck by him.

The 33-year-old, fearing for her own safety, and still having the man in her presence, called 112, asking to be able to order a margherita pizza, so as not to make him suspicious.

The synergy between the operators of the single emergency number, who were the first to receive the hidden request for help, and the policemen of the Police Headquarters to whom the call was made, made it possible to send a steering wheel to the rescue of the woman.

The 33-year-old, then rescued by the medical staff of the Polyclinic following the beatings received, on the arrival of the policemen, told them that it was only the latest in a long series of episodes of violence and harassment suffered during their relationship related to the jealousy of man.

The agents of the General Prevention Office have thus collected the report of the 33-year-old, and arrested the man in flagrantee for aggravated personal injury.
