Oristano, a tree broken by the wind ends up in a car

The strong sirocco wind that began to blow in the early afternoon also in the Oristano area caused a large tree to fall on a car parked in via Piero Sotgiu, in the popular district of Torangius.

The accident took place just before 1pm near the parking lots of a building.

The gusts of the wind felled the tree, perhaps already sick, and one of the big branches fell into a brand new Jeep parked nearby. Apart from the damage to the car, there were no injuries.

The report sent to the local police triggered the immediate intervention of the firefighters of the provincial command of Oristano. The men of 115 secured the area by cutting down the tree felled by bad weather. The suv suffered damage to the engine hood.
