Less infections with more tampons:
hospitalizations down, nine deaths

Swabs increase but infections in Sardinia decrease. 375 new cases were detected by the Crisis Unit on November 27 out of 3,334 tests (yesterday they were 405 out of 3,037 swabs). The swab-positive ratio today stands at 11.24%.
Of the new infections, 191 were detected through screening activities and 184 by suspected diagnosis: 88 in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, 27 in Southern Sardinia, 72 in Oristano, 91 in Nuoro and 97 in Sassari. The total number of infections in the island since the beginning of the epidemic rises to 20,419, with a total of 362,926 swabs performed.
On the other hand, the number of deaths is on the increase, 9 (427 in all): these are six men and three women aged between 66 and 96 years. Three residents in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, three in the province of Sassari, the others one each between the provinces of Nuoro, Oristano and South Sardinia.
The numbers in hospitals are also decreasing: 528 hospitalized patients (seven fewer than yesterday), 71 those in intensive care (-2). The remaining 12,556 currently positive are in home isolation.
Another 164 patients recovered, bringing the total to 6,749, in addition to another 88 clinically recovered.
On the territory, of 20,419 positive cases ascertained overall, 4,245 (+88) were detected in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, 3,262 (+27) in Southern Sardinia, 1,697 (+72) in Oristano, 3,715 (+91) in Nuoro, 7,500 (+97) in Sassari.
